I don't pay attention to it because I don't need another excuse as to why I'm not catching fish.
Yeah, but if I can blame moon phase I don't have to explore (buy) other lure/equipment options.

No, NO, NO, if you can blame the phase of the moon for your lack of success, then you can justify spending money on more equipment to deal specifically with that particular set of conditions.

My PB of 10lbs was caught when the charts said good early (am). It was correct most of the time when it said good fishing on certain days too. I wish we still had it.
The infisnherman guys go trophy fishing on full moon nights too they have a video that explains it.
If your a trophy hunter knowing how to use the moon phases helps when to fish harder.
So far i find the moon can turn them on more just like the weather can. When the weather teams up with the moon phases the fishing is awesome.
Motivation is the key to success.....
Remember on a bad day just throw the lure you never tried yet.....
