Has anyone tried these? I picked up a couple and they seem really nice,i fish fairly stained water and was hoping maybe the louder clacking would help attract fish better than the usual BB's in most cranks.I do well with the DT 3's so i suspect these to work just as well.

Well, that review sold me on the lure. Don't know how well it works, but it looks darn cool inside and out. There will be three in my tacklebox come payday.

I only have one in perch and it usually catches fish when I use it

A fish a day, keeps the skunks away.

I have to get a couple of these. The reviews are awesome. I'm a top water Rapala guy, I don't fish crankbaits, so, if I get a 5ft one, is it easy to retrieve at 3ft if needed by just retrieving slower? thinking about the 2" 5/16oz 5ft.. red craw and helsinki shad.

I often use the Clackin Rap in Helsinki Shad color with great success. If you like lipeless cranks, check that one out as well.

I just got back from Gander. I wanted both the Helsinki Shad and Red Crawdad but only had enough for one.. picked up the Helsinki. I really wanted both I was having a rough time deciding if I should put something else back on the shelf lol

I was at Sportsman Warehouse yesterday and picked up two 2.5 Strike King KVD Square Bill Cranks in Sexy Shad and Bluegill.

The first crank I'm going to try is definitely the Clackin' Crank. I love how this lure looks.

I like these lures! sometimes....what I mean is that they're loud and that works some days and does it work good, but others I think it's way too much as they won't get bumped when another crankbait with similar running depth would. I have caught bass on it up to 8 pounds. I don't think it hunts quite as good as say a KVD squarebill in my opinion but it does have a decent little wobble to it. The ones I have all float/rise very slowly and I have noticed they get hung up quite a bit maybe because of this. I don't care for the hooks so I change them out as well. In all, I definitely like them as they have produced good results with me and I will keep using them.
