As a general rule, anything that stinks after three days without refrigeration.
Bologna, cheese, lunch meats, spam, that kind of stuff.
On the fly or on a lure, bass are my thing. Unless trout are around...

Yep !
I have an old timer here that fishes the canal behind my home almost everyday, he uses nothing but chicken livers and almost always scores........he eats them all the time out of these disgusting canals too, must be ok, he's past 80 and healthy as horse.
I can teach you all you need to know, but I'll never teach you......ALL I KNOW !

My friend has some orange beef we are going to try left over from chinese catering from his wifes party.
Banana bread worked well for us. I hear ivory soap works, dont ask me why.

Hotdogs are probably the cheapest and easiest household bait you can find. Chicken livers work pretty well at time but are a lot messier, smell bad, and difficult to fish with.
