They are amazing birds to see. We are starting to get a pretty good population of them around here. My dad actually works near the Missouri River and after the floods receeded last year there was tons of fish stuck in pools in the fields near the river. At one point he counted over 50 bald eagles I believe that were grouped around the pools were the fish were at. I think he got a couple pictures of them, if I can find them I'll try to get them up.
Is it spring yet??

I've seen that before and its awesome to see! Today at the lake I saw a bald eagle flying about 10 ft off the water. I was able to drive right beside it about 40 yards away. We did it for good ways. Then I thought I should get my phone out and video this but by the time I got it out the eagle pulled up. I got it a litte on the phone but can't really tell its a eagle. Plus it can of hard to drive a boat and try to video with a phone.

Someone should tell that eagle catch and release is better for the fishery.

Where you at Mashpee/wakeby? Or Great Herring? Both of those ponds have eagles and the one i saw was so badass. He corralled a bunch of ducks then waited for a stragler and picked one off while i was on my boat screaming "AMMMMMERRRICCAAAA"
