does anyone have any good catifishing spots around here ...(do not suggest catch'em lake at shelby farms!)
im a bank only angler because i have no boat..any tips on any spots and baits would be awesome

If you can make it to NC Kerr Reservoir brooke the world record for blue cat last year.
It was on the VA side. And we call it Buggs Island. .....just sayin.

Might wanna take a look at the map, it's Kerr lake that spans both Va. and NC. there is a reason it's called Buggs.
I have also found that when it comes to friends, a good friend will come and bail you out of jail, but best friends will be right there beside you saying d**n that was fun !!!

I know the area quite well. In fact I live on the lake during the week. The fish was caught near Clarksville, VA....thus my "VA side" comment.
And its called Buggs after the island just the other side of the dam.
Just showing some Virginia pride....
