What's working up here right now. My wife and I are up here for a few days and want to get on some bass, large or smallmouth

Some friends of mine had great luck two weeks ago fishing flukes along gravel banks that fall quickly into
deeper water. Over 50 bass including a 6.5 lb smallmouth!

Last week we had luck on plastic lizards along the bank and shaky head with a zoom trick worm on it. Yesterday snagged one with a fluke around a tree top that was in the water.

We fished the Federation State Tourney last Friday and Saturday. Caught lots of fish on points and deep banks, but the better fish were caught offshore on swimbaits, carolina rigs, spoons and crankbaits. You can catch good fish on most main lake points with a shakey head, jigs or soft plastics.
