Has anyone ever used Moreau? Expensive but they look cool.

I have the rat. I just got it a few weeks ago and I have only thrown it for about an hour. No blow ups yet but this thing is awsome. I know its going to be a fish catcher. I can make it do all kinds of stuff.

too $$ for me just to have a toothy fish steal it~I have that Rebel frog posted above, haven't thrown it yet but I upgraded the trebs & put an Owner dressed treb on the back. we'll see once Mn Opener comes around...
If a frog farts in the pads and no ones around to hear it, does it make a ribbit?

Ive never delt with Moreau baits, but I've been planning on buying atleast one bait from them. I feel for em after rebel knockin off their bait so brashly.

Yesterday I was looking at some videos on youtube, there aren't many of the rat but it has amazing action. I want to get one.

You should go back out and throw it, tell me what you catch! lol

Yeah, they are expensive. I'd be more worried about throwing it into a tree and losing it than a fish breaking the line.

Beautiful lure, but it cost more than some rods... Definitely throw using some heavy braid and be willing to swim after that if it gets hung up.

Ive caught many fish on the frog r. My dad has caught nice ones also on it. I dont think Ive had one come off of the stock hooks either, they pretty much slaughtered it since the profile isnt too huge.

How big? Should probably send me the mouse, I'll get it eaten by bass over here.

4 dollars Rebel frog-r

I'm with him. ^^^ I like to spend money on lures, but IMO, 99% of whether you catch a big fish or not is determined by your skill. The bass will bite the Frog-R just as much as the fancy $35 Moreau. (Also, I'd be pretty mad I got it snagged :eyebrows: )

I recently borrowed a Moreau 3" frog from my friend to learn how to walk the dog. Its actually an easy bait to learn on because of its mobility and buoyancy (not sure about the Rebel-R but I am sure it doesn't compare to Moreau). A few days later after I got the walking down I went out to my fishing hole and got 4 strikes within 5 casts. I ended up pulling in 2 but it was amazing. Its so crazy when the fish roll on this bait. Below are the pictures from this outing. I also attached one of last nights catch. I am usually a night fisherman and I have had a few other crazy blow ups on this lure. I love it!!!!

After my blow ups, I gave in and ordered a mouse (which I have also used, it has some crazy action and is very life like), frog with prop and a bass popper/ walker. I got to admit they are a little pricey but you do pay for what you get. The detail and quality of this lure is out of this world. Its like the Lamborghini of lures. Lol, I sound like a d**n salesman. But none the less, they are sick lures and I despise Rebel for copying them. Just make sure your careful throwing them and use heavy braided line.

True that.. I've donated lots of money in frogs/rats to the pike demons.

That's one of the more blatant bait ripoffs out there....
