Bombers are hands down the best box fillers. Northwoods outlet sells most models four for ten or three for nine ninety-nine and the work great! Just because the price is low doesn't always mean the lure sucks

I buy those 2.99 bombers small ones work great for bass and the larger ones are snook slayers. I catch as many fish on cheaper lures as I do more expensive ones. My bass stuff doesn't get replaced very often, it lasts pretty good, but not my snook lures, they don't seem to stay in my possession too long, I use way more soft plastics on jig heads for them, or just a plain bucktail.

THe Square A is one of the best baits for fishing the junk that's ever been. They're just superb.
Brown fish are better than green fish.

Agree with Hooligan, have a box full of them and wouldn't give them up for anything.

My favorite square bill. Prob cause of the price. I throw these all the time both sizes and they just kill. They run true most of the time too. For 3 bucks you really can't beat em for that price. Colors that work for me are oxbow, chrome tennesee shad and white/chartruese back.

  • Favorite Lake or River:The Yampa River, Colorado's best smallmouth fishery. Lots of 2 - 4 pound, obese bronze bombers in this river. Connected Lakes is my favorite lake, just a group of small gravel pits, no bigger than 100 acres. No monsters, but lots of 2 - 5 pound largemouths and the odd 6 - 7.

Bomber cranks rock, I think I've caught more bass on them than any other brand. The Square A is no exception, and casts very well for a shallow crank because it's heavy.

Hey!

I love the Square A, but the Norman Fat Boy is VERY similar and the Redear color has been my most
productive crankbait, period!

The Norman Fat Boy is a good one too. Wish they made some in bluegill colors.

I like both the Bomber and the Norman. Don't neglect the little Bomber Shallow A for skinny water. It's another of my killer lures.
The older I get.....the better I was.

X2! The 3/8 oz. size in Tennessee Shad, Dark Brown Craw and Brown on Yellow are my favorites.

Tom
There are no magic lures and the fish don't care how much you paid for your gear.
