I fish alot of really clear lakes around the house and get a ton of 4-5 lb fish cruising slowly behind the baits but never eat them. I thought that maybe if i added eyes to them, like the zoom super fluke, that these followers might turn into potential tournament winning fish. Well, the other day i tried using expoxy to glue the eyes on but it seemed like the expoxy would not bind with the plastic. I also tried super glue but that didn't work either.

What kind of glue should i be using? Something specifcally made for soft plastics like mend-it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

ive had great luck with venom worm glue from cabelas. actually used it for what you describe by cutting small red or black 2'' grubs across their width and attaching them to soft plastic lizards and minnows. hope this helps and good luck.

Mend-it will do the job very well

Mend it is the best thing known to man kind... I use it for glass eyes all the time on swim baits and that.

Have to jump on the Mend-It bandwagon too!

I've use it for a while now... I keep all my used and torn plastics and "mend" them after I get home from fishing, put them back into their respective storage (after drying) and they're good to go the next time!

I took my granddaughter fishing. She was using one of my hard-to-find Kanji frogs. (They're a soft frog like a Spro.) She had it tangling over the side when a big ol' snapping turtle got it!!!

Most of the time, I'd have just cut the line... but I wasn't about to lose that frog! Got the turtle to the boat and reached down with a pair of LONG, long-nosed pliers and got the frog back. Well, needless to say, that snapper had made a number of "cuts" in the body... and it now sank like a rock.

Took it home and was pleasantly surprised to find out that Mend-It ALSO repairs soft/hollow-bodied frogs!!!!!

Just wante to point out that it "mends" more than just your typical "plastics"!!
