Decided to get about an hour or so of fishing in earlier. Caught this one on a 1/4oz dropshot rig with a size 2 owner mosquito hook and an emerald zoom brush hog as the bait. She bit as soon as it hit the water and tugged like a freight train was on the end of my line! I weighed her three times and the boga said 4 3/4 exactly. Almost 5, but doesn't matter, it was still a blast! I just might be able to crack the 7lb mark this year, judging by the way the canal is shaping up.
