Very clear lake so natural colors work best for me. Most of the bass fishermen will be flippin the floating docks as this is the standard DC pattern. The last couple of times I fished there it was tough (there was a large fish kill) and the pleasure boat traffic was horrible. Now I will only fish it in the spring or fall and the best bait is a LC slender pointer 97mr in ghost minnow. Be warned about using high dollar lures though as the pickerral attack any and all bass lures.

Thanks. Much use in dragging a jig over there for fishing the docks?

They are all floating docks and I like to be different so I stay away from them.

Drop shot the bridges and turkey neck has produced fish for me in the past.
I always catch a limit in practice!

Hey Bill
I'm Mike , I'm from the lake here , best bet is to fish the back of the coves , due to the boat traffic now , any soft plastic's in green pumpkin / jig's with craw trailers , under & around docks / wood , I've seen bass chasing bait fish around rocky / grass area's . I'd throw soft jerk baits in pearl & hard jerk baits in either silver with black back or gold with black back ,
Hope This Helps & You Land Some Fish ................... Mike P.
