Ok, when I fish with a frog, I seem to get a couple of bumps right before they actually take the frog. So I was thinking, couldn't you use a trailer hook for the frog to catch those short strikes, or because they eventually take the lure, it doesn't matter. Sorry, if this topic was already talked about it.

I use them on buzz style frogs when in sparser cover.... But not in the thickest stuff. It does help.
