Hi I was wondering what line I should I put on my baitcaster for a crankbait or a jig. I have 6LB Mono, 10LB invisi-brade, 8LB original, 10LB rapala, 20LB braid, and 50LB braid. I'm fishing where there are some sticks but not many.

Here in the Northeast I mostly use mono....with 8 lb. on my Medium rods, and 12 lb. on the MH rods being my normal choice. Given braid's small diameter, I don't see a reason for going lighter than 40 lb. However, I am going to try 20 lb. braid on a 1600C Black Max/Medium rod combo just to see how it will work for cranks. I've got 6 lb. on a Daiwa Sol/Falcon Expert Light, but the panel is still out on that combo.
