...but it was dink city, LOL.

Went to a 3 acre pond for some afternoon fishing with my old man. After sitting in the car for an hour waiting for some isolated storms to blow through, we headed out. My first choice was a 1/8 oz texas rigged Rage Craw (Summer Craw I believe) on a 2/0 Trokar.

The bass seemed to be holding really tight to cover in about 2 feet of water, but we saw some schools of catfish, which was wierd because I thought it would be the other way around.

Anyways, I was pitching this thing to anywhere I thought might hold a fish. 2 dinks, and one solid 1.5, but they all looked the same so I cant differentiate pictures, or if I even took a picture of each one. All I know is, there is a bundle of photos. No big girls, or average girls, but these little guys fought like the Irish!

I also felt kinda bad for my dad, he didnt catch any, but I felt worse when I basically poached his fish. We were fishing a spot, and he moved down about 100 ft to fish there. After he worked it for about 20 minutes I walked over to give it a try. I basically said, "I bet there is a fish hanging out under that tree branch floating there. My first pitch to it a 1.5 slammed it on the fall, the biggest of the day.

But anyways, hope you enjoy the pictures! I'll be hitting this pond again looking for some big girls with big baits!

We have alot of those fish in that last pic around here. They fight like hell but most anglers kill them cuz they eat the bass... ;-)
