Has anyone thought of cutting the babybrush hog in half and using it as a jig trailer? I was going through my box today and thought it would look cool.

I like the vibration/motion U get from Pack'a'chunk or Rage tail. I don't think you would get the same results, but I'm sure it would catch fish.

I actually use that set up quite a bit. It works very well and I would recommend it to anyone.

the same process will also work for a reg. brush hog on a jig.

No need to cut it in half just use the whole baby hog, It works great , and like they said try using a big brush hog too! I also take ribbon tail worms and cut them down and they work great as a jig trailer! Why throw a tore up worm out when you can use the rest as a trailer.

I do this too. I only cut about 1/4-1/2 an inch though and then put it on.

Uhhhh..... why slice it in half ?  :-?

You want big ? ---> you gotta go big.

I use a brush hog as trailer, not a baby, an entire brush hog.

One of my favorite trailers for football jigs fished deep. Generally, I use the entire brush hog.

i agree. bulky is good. slower fall. but the baby brush hog is an excellent spinnerbait trailer.

I use old beat up hogs as trailers with good results. Give it a try.

in my FLW magazine, I can't remembe who, but he won the tourney using a couple lures, but his main one was fishing a football head jig with a baby brush hog as a trailer along a ledge....if it wins a pro tourny for him, I'm sure it'll work great

I think I will try it to!
