Anyone out there like to shed hunt? I like doing it but seems I rarely find anything, probably mainly due to the lack of private land I have to walk. Probably go walk around a bit this week even though it's probably a bit early. I've had some monsters on trail cam this year that I'm hoping I can find the sheds from since I never got a chance to shoot them.

Its way too early for it here. I know where a monster has been hanging, might go see if I can find his, hes in a state park that doesnt allow buck hunting.
I myself have never dedicated too much time too it because like you I dont have private land. However, morell mushrooms are another story.

I used to in highschool a buddy of mine had 1100acres of private farm land. We used to find some monster sheds back there. Now I don't bother I don't have much land access kinda sucks.

Farmers in my area are usually happy to allow shed hunting, just ask for permission. Run over 1 shed with a tractor tire and you have spent several hundred dollars.
