Finally, here is the second part of my Hobie flotilla that I was able to get rigged up this past week, the 2015 Hobie Outback.  I rigged her with a Lowrance ELITE-5 CHIRP, a couple RAM ZOOKA Tube rod holders and the Power-Pole Micro Shallow Water Anchor.

Yes it does, the new Vantage CT.  All Hobie kayaks (excluding the inflatable series) in the Mirage Drive lineup now have both the Vantage CT seat and the new GT (glide Technology) on the drives themselves (10% efficiency increase and lighter).

This boat has taken me where I want to go, treated me very well, and I have absolutely no complaints about it.

I'm a boat owner again! Man it was a rough season with nothing but a johnboat but I finally found the right one. Had to drive almost to Wisconsin to get it but it was worth the drive for the deal I got on it. 2012 189 Stratos VLO with a 150 Mercury Optimax Pro XS, 80lb Maxxum, dual side imaging/down imaging/mapping Garmins are in route for it. The previous owners used it less than 6 times, I put more miles on the trailer hauling it home than it had on it. More than a little pumped up about it.
