White bass at Rogersville TN?

As a kid, we used to fish near Rogersville for stripes (white bass).  Do they still run up the river in good numbers, and when do they start?  Any good places to bank fish?  I know I couldn't find where we used to fish.  Thanks.

i want to go to rogersville on thursday....where should I go? cloud creek or steamplant?? Hubie day bridge?
