Mines been pretty good. My wife had surgery in September so that killed my entire bow season and then I got busy up at the lake I guide on. I didn't get into the woods until last week but it didn't take me long to figure them out. In three days I shot three good does and then this Monday I shot a small 8pt. I normally would have let him walk but my Mom and Dad said they needed some meat.

Now I'm going to be up most of the night tonight processing all the meat. Yum Yum.

I ended up getting an average doe last week in GA, does and a couple of spikes walked by and had some nice photos of some shooters on my cameras, but I was a week to early to catch the horny monsters chasing, I may get up there for the second rut in Dec.

Shot a big bodied spike for a buddy of mine that feeds his family with venision this time of year. He had a couple bumps that may have been points next year but 2 1/2 years old and still just a spike he needed to go anyways. Would have rather shot the big doe that was in the field also but he chased her out of there so he brought it on himself  I've never seen a deer drop like that from an arrow though. Quartering away shot and he dropped like he'd been hit with a shotgun slug. Those triple bladed Rage broadheads are just nasty!

Glad you got the freezer full Gene. Since I move to Michigan I have retired from hunting. Could shoot one from the rear deck but just don't have the fire any more. Time to quit.

Me and my buddy got a 9pt today.....

Driving home from drill he spotted it in the ditch on the side of the high way dead for a few days and bloted so we got my machete and off with his head. There's only 3 days of bow season left and were at drill and can't hunt so he threw his tag on it and it's on it's way right now to get the flesh eating beetles and euro mount done with a plauq that reads FORD found on roadside dead lol.

I've shot a doe and a small spike buck so far. Yesterday one of the worst things that can happen to a deer hunter happened to me. Had a nice 10 point jump the fence and pass by 35 yards away. He stopped to eat some acorns in a small shooting lane and I let one fly. My arrow hit a little higher than I would have liked but it still looked like a good shot. After waiting a long time I started tracking him and found good blood pretty fast. Followed down a hill, across 2 creeks, up a small hill, back down the hill, across the creek again, up a steep hill, and then the trail went cold. I got a couple buddies and we came back 4 hours later and searched for 4 hours and found no sign of him :( Shooting a nice deer and not being able to recover him is one of the worst feelings a deer hunter can go through in my opinion. My only hope is that my shot got nothing but muscle and maybe he will survive.
Is it spring yet??
