On clearance for $2 per 10 pack.  Seems like a pretty d**n good deal.

Good deals don't always mean you're getting a good product.

Worst case they don't sink, and you can use them with wacky jigs.

You have little to lose for a deuce.  Seeing as your from Fla, if they fail use them as a bucktail trailer for snook, I guarantee a catch.

Or on a carolina rig. Soft sticks are awesome on it and the ones that barely sink are even better.

I'm sorry. Allow me to elaborate. I have found a stick bait that works extremely well for me and cost about 6 bucks a bag. I have spent a lot of money trying out other brands that, IMO, didn't produce like the 6 dollar bag. Those baits went to waste and it was like throwing money away. Sure, I caught fish on the knock off brands, but the numbers weren't the same as the original brand. I'm tired of trying out different bait to replace a proven bait just to save a few bucks. That being said, go ahead and try the ones you are referring to. They might prove to be a surperior bait.

You're right, nothing compares to a weightless gycb senko in most situations. But what if the bass want a little different presentation and a slow sinking knock-off is the trick that day. Could prevent a skunk or win a tournament you never know. If you don't like paying for a gycb senko which are $8.49 at most places now then this might be a worthy alternative. You never know until you try it.

If using it like a weightless Senko, make sure they have heavy salt.

If you have a BPS close wait until they put their plasstics on sale. Their stick-O is a pretty good substitute and they normally have them on sale 3 for 10 bucks. I buy enough during the spring fever sale each spring to get me through the year. They aren't the original but they do catch fish.
Shawnee, KS. Don't get to fish tournaments much because of work. I fish everywhere within about a 2 hour drive. I have a couple boats but nothing fancy. I spend a lot of time on smaller lakes but fish La Cygne, Melvern, and Perry quite a bit too.

if I use a knock off and am not catching fish I always think I'd do better with a GYCB. This tells me I have no confidence in the others and as such I don't use them allot. My main Senko is Black & Blue & the BPS ones aren't close to the same color but you gotta love their price!

I started using the less expensive ones made by strike king and haven't noticed a difference in the amt or size of the fish I've caught with them.  In fact I've caught a couple bigger ones on the SK than the GY but that isn't due to the bait it is  more due to location and the fish that were on that location at the time I wet the bait.

Best way I do it is to buy X brand and test in a fish tank next to the GY and make you own assumption.  If you find it comparable enough and will have the confidence to use when on the water you're all set and have found a less expensive bait that works.  I still use both  but have confidence in both also and thats the key.  At two bucks try it and compare and at the least you'll have gained knowledge and will be better off in the end either way.

In fact I just bought some YUM dingers on sale and have to test them to the other brands to see how I like them and know when I will deploy them.
