I just finished watching the first elimination round of Major League Fishing and it was awesome. KVD got smoked. I can't wait till Round 2.

Thanks.

Hopefully the next step is full contact bass fishing.
Competitor 1: Bouy!
Competitor 2: <drives over and leaps aboard Competitor 1's boat and begins attacking him with a flippin' stick>
-5 minutes for fighting, or high sticking, your call. ;-)
Awesome.

I don't know that i'd say KVD got smoked..he did most of the smokin for the first couple of quarters. Then someone pull out the conversational lure and proves why it should be illegal in tournaments. Sorry but that guy doesn't have the skill that the other competitors behind him have and he ends up winning by a mile.Take that lure away and he doesn't even make the cut, putting someone with much more talent in the top 4.

Thanks for the link, I'll probably watch this tonight. The format seems a little strange but I think I like it.

I talked to Boyd Duckett about it when he was in Auburn last fall, and it sounds awesome. I'll be buying in tonight.

I just watched the free demo and I LOVE the idea......
they are fishing out of 18 foot boats with 150s on back, and stripped down versions at that.....makes it more like the average guy out there.
LOVE the no practice, just show up and fish
LOVE the every fish gets weighed idea too...
I buy the pay for view for sure!!

I've heard nothing but good things about MLF. Hopefully they can get the proper backing to keep it going.

Very intriguing. I sure wish it was on tv. I sure don't won't to set a precedent of paying to watch tv on the Internet. God only knows where that will end if they find out we fishermen will pay by the episode.

I reached deep into my pockets for the $3 and I'm watching it right now. So far (3rd period), the jerkbait has more doubles than the umbrella rig. lol Pretty cool set-up that really let's you see the reaction of the anglers throughout the day.
