I'd like to welcome the fine folks at SNAG PROOF as new sponsors of this site.

Snag Proof is an AMERICAN family owned business from Ohio, and the current Pres and VP are the founder's children [but now grown up].

I am proud to be associated with them as a good-will ambassador for Snag Proof.

I have done some color-pattern designs for them, and one of the colors is named after me, the 'Wild Bull" frog color.

Pleae join me in welcoming them aboard here as a sponsor.

Somehow you knew I was just about to post the same thing! Yes, the fine folks at Snag Proof are terrific people.  They make great products too.

If any of you have tried their lures, tell us how you did.  Post pics if you have them!
The people that hate you, don't know you. They dislike the funhouse mirror image they have of you.

I can remember as a kid my Dad would take me to the local state park and we would fish snag-proof frogs over the pads at night during the summer.  We caught some really really big bass doing that.  Always been a great bait, nothing has changed and now it's great to have them sponsoring such a great site for fishermen.

John,
You could at least take the bar off of Bills eyes , but leave it on the frog.

Okay, I must admit that I am a spokesman for Snag Proof , but am unpaid for my actions; just a customer that REALLY believes they make great products.
I tout products and companies that I REALLY believe in, and both Snag Proof customer service and it's products ROCK !!

The SnagProof frog pictured in JFrancho's post is the "Bass Kicker Frog" by Snag Proof, and it creates quite a ruckus of noise and bubbles on the water's surface. That picture was taken when that specific frog was not yet even on the market, having been supplied to me as a proto-type back then [hence the blackout eyes in the faces done by John--LOL], but now it is in full production for a few years, and has a been a great performer for me ever since that day.

The frog in the picture is the Wild Bull Frog color pattern,  named after me for developing that color while my wife fought malignant Cancer years ago.

I make NOTHING on any sales of it, nor am I paid in any way by them;  Instead,Snag Proof supports the battle against Cancer each year, as it has affected so , so many people in all of our lives.

John F,.... How about "dragging" that "frogging tutorial near-book"  that I had posted at another site earlier this year, to over here for the benefit fo the readers on this site, please.

Here's a "Wild Bull" frog "toad"...Posted Image

It weighed exactly 6.5 pounds, caught in a  small CT pond while fishing with my good buddy, "Rich Z" Zaleski .

I am hoping that I am not breaking any rules by posting a thread on FROG FISHING AND IT'S EQUIPMENT that was posted on another fishing website, but I thought others here could gain some info and insight from my decades of bass fishing with hollow-bodied frogs from what i had written.

The thread there is THREE pages with many entries by me answering questions or posting frog fishing info in it

Here you go...Enjoy !

Wisconson Heat,

Sounds like you need to get your Father some nice braided line for Father's Day before he loses you Ish's Phat Frog, too.

Hopefully, he'll get the hint and get you a Bobby's Perfect in the Wild Bull again then.

But that would be in a "perfect" world....{LOL}

Great to hear. After last fall the Phat frog became my new favorite hollow frog. I started calling it the Phast Frog because we could fish it so fast and never had to slow down to get the water out of it.

Randall,

Good to hear that your new favorite Frog is the "Ish's Phat Frog".
Please share a photo  or two of your froggin fish..

The re-designed "Bobby's Pefect Frog" also now has that  "Inner Tube Technology"  that Snag Proof has developed to keep hollow-bodied frogs from sinking..
