Did I miss something?

We're back to the old days of getting 1 hour snippets a few months after the fact?

That's Classic!

Yea really stinks. No basstrak or nuthinn. Maybe they want to try and get more viewers for the actual show next week?? IDK but by far the best classic yet was 2 years ago I think when it was shown on espn basically live

Edit i see they do have basstrakk

I know from a media perspective that they won't let anyone videotape the weigh-in. They don't want anyone showing it before they do.

I am assuming they are going to still recap the events on their site before it is aired, correct?

A spectator sport that is impossible to actually watch? Genius.

They aren't helping the sport any by limiting visibility. We want LIVE action. Not pre-recorded week old news.

I agree. They should be advancing the sport of fishing and the way we view it, not continuing to take the traditional route.

Little confused on this one...... Talked with my brother this morning, via texts, and he said he's watching. I mentioned this post but hadn't heard back from him. When I hear anything, I'll let everyone know.

^ He might have said he is planning on watching? Or watching the launch? Unfortunately, there are no live feeds going on of the tournament.

**Edit. What's going on in the war room?

really frustrating to see they have resorted back to the old ways. the past few years have been decent with interviews and the like, but this year we didnt even get to see the launch as it happened? kind of messed up if you asked me. all you really have to do is put a camera on a tripod for us! thats all im asking for at least! you would think it being the CLASSIC, there are probably (in my mind at least) a couple hundred thousand people who are in to it enoguh to check it out before it airs on tv.

the war room is kind of behind the scenes action in what looks liek the editing room. these are the guys running the basstrak and the maps and what not.

Quote straight from my brother on this... "The war room is live... nothing from the boats... but the war room is just as good."

Might argue that it's "just as good" but it has to be better than nothing... I haven't checked it out being in and out of meetings.

Couple things I noticed, Walker boats an unconfirmed 7 pounder already, what a hawg! I also can't believe John Diaco has thrown back 2 keepers already and only has one in the livewell. I know they weren't the right type of fish to win, but that seems like something that would bring some bad mojo to your boat. (not that I'm superstitious or anything ;) )
