  1. Thanks guys looks like the tatula is the winner. Do they fish in the higher end of the weight ranges? Or right in the middle or low end?
  2. So I'm looking for a new multi purpose m/f spinning rod. I know both these are similar price points. I have a dobyns fury ml/f spinning rod which I like. That being said between these 2 which would you choose? I heard good things about both jusy a tough choice.

  4. I mean I've caught bass in Florida on a ned rig granted it's more color choice then bait. I mean honestly maybe cause I target smallmouth the most in rivers and creeks but I feel like a tube would fall under the whole northern even though I know that's not the case.
  5. So in my experience sometimes the deepest water isn't always the go to. Some stretches I fish literally maybe a half a foot change is a big deal for smallies like others said they do weird things. You could try dragging a tube with a heavier weight the goofe tube etc would prevent snags. Or the slider heads a few companies make also would work.
  6. Just recently switched to invis x on my spinning set up granted it's a leader but still amazing line.
  7. I was looking at them I do like the larger guides just wish it was split grip like the avid x
  8. That's an amazing idea too I noticed with the wire weed guard if I bend pretty close to the eye and poke it thru and run the eye thru the same hole I don't have too many issues I'll deff have to try this out too Yeah I like that style hook way better granted if I do get snagged up in the rocks on the rivers or creek the cheap hooks are way easier to bend ha
  9. See that's always the issue luckily I do have one tackle shop close by sft that carries a good amount of brands. I do know they have the shimano I'm looking at and I think maybe dobyns. I also saw a dobyns champ xp on Alf in the pre ownes for right around the price tag Do you have any by any chance? I'm curious what you think about them
  10. Woo thanks bud!
  11. I did grab a pack of them recently I do like then Ah perfect!
  12. Hey guys so does anyone know someone who makes 1/8oz-3/16 weedless tube inserts? I like the ones with the single metal wire but usually the hooks are so so at vest. I've been using a lot of of the bps goofe tube insert but it's tedious to rig it right. I was kinda hoping someone in here might make the style I like with better hooks.
  13. Hey guys I'm looking for a new spinning rod for my smallie outings. Right now I'm using my 6'8 m/xf mojo bass which has become my tube and light weight plastics rod (1/8 usually weight plus bait) I love it for the most part. The thing is i would like something just a tad bit longer (6'10-7) due to the fact the water is usually clear. I was thinking stick with medium action but want something that will transmit dragging tubes and plastics a little more. Granted my mojo was made for wacky rigs. I would like to keep it to spinning rod and let's set the budget at 200. I was looking at the Sierra and also the shimano zodias but am open to suggestions.
  14. I would love to do this! Sadly I'm about a 100 post shy ?
  15. I go the crazy alberto but at the end will take the braid 3 times thru the loop and tighten it all down. It let's you get the braid tag super flush
