  1. Team Tournaments "Membership Open to All" 100 Members and GROWING. The Tracker Bass Club, is where you'll have a chance to meet and compete with a great bunch of people. We also have an average of 32 boats per event, and, we are still looking to Grow. Our club was formed by a handful of Tracker boat owners who wanted to fish local waters. They also wanted a strong focus on becoming better fishermen. So with that as a stepping stone, the club grew, and now has a membership of 100. We are one of the Largest Bass Clubs in the Mid-West, and seldom do we travel more than an hour to get to our events, which also makes it possible for most of our members to participate. Our events are $50.00 per boat and payouts are, One in every Four boats entered, along with sponsors merchandise down the line. Our Club Members are very knowledgeable on when and where to catch fish and are eager to help their fellow members or anyone, in and out of the water. So, whether you're a skilled angler, or a novice, Tracker Bass Club may be what your looking for. Feel free to browse our site, and if you have any questions please call the club at, (708) 807-3500 or (708)307-3952 and some one will assist you. 3. On February 2, the Tracker Bass Club held their club meeting but this was not to be an ordinary one. In fact, this meeting was to be one of the most important ones that we have had to date. Our club secretary, Jerry Harling, proposed a challenge to the members, Quote (BRING IN ANY UNWANTED TACKLE OR LINE; GENTLY USED SPINNING EQUIPMENT, PLASTICS, LEAD HEADS, OR HOOKS, ETC. CLEAN OUT THAT TACKLE BAG AND MAKE ROOM, FOR ALL THAT NEW TACKLE YOU ARE GOING TO PURCHASE AND BRING IT TO THE FEBRUARY MEETING. SOME OTHER THINGS THAT ARE REALLY NEEDED ARE SOCKS, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT SOCKS; OUR TROOPS REALLY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH SOCKS. BABY WIPES ARE ALSO HIGH ON THE WISH LIST, JUST THINK, WHEN YOU CANNOT TAKE A SHOWER OR CLEAN YOURSELF OFF AFTER GOING TO THE BATHROOM, A QUICK CLEAN OFF WOULD FEEL PRETTY DAM GOOD. OUR TROOPS ARE THOUSANDS OF MILES FROM THEIR FAMILIES AND HOMES, SO I AM CHALLENGING ALL OF YOU, BRING IN WHAT YOU CAN, SO WE CAN GIVE THESE GUYS & GALS SOME SORT OF PLEASURE. ) I knew of our troops doing some fishing over there because of the pictures that were in our local papers. I also remember seeing something on television that showed some of the guy's in make shift boats fishing. What I did not know was of the other things that Jerry had mentioned, nor did I even think about them. I guess you can say that I am no different from anyone else, but like many others, I did not think about it, and just took these things for granted. As time went on this night, the members started coming into to the club, and it was becoming apparent that everyone was taking Jerry up on his challenge. Quickly the place started to look like Wal-Mart and Bass Pro Shop all in one. What a site to see. By the time the meeting was to start, there was well over a thousand dollars worth of fishing tackle, and about the same amount in other items. All Of these items were waiting to be sent to our troops, which are going to Operation Out Reach out of Joliet. and from there would be sent to other locations. As I have said before, either in an articles or on our website, that the Tracker Bass Club members are always willing to help everyone, both in and out of the water, and they are best group of people that I have met and proud to call them friends. On behalf of the Tracker Bass club, I would like to thank All our Troops everywhere for making it possible for us back home to, Always Have the Freedom that many before have given to us. God Bless All Our Troops and God Bless America For any information on the Tracker Bass Club, visit our web site at www.trackerbassclub.com
