BASS Reschedules Central Open Fishing Tournament Due to Hurricane Rita
Due to impending hurricane conditions and in the best interest of all concerned, BASS has rescheduled the Bassmaster Central Open on Norfork Lake in Arkansas, originally scheduled for Sept. 29- Oct. 1.
The event now is planned for Oct. 13-15 at the same location.
Though Hurricane Rita is not projected to seriously affect the area, a majority of anglers planning to participate in the event are coming from states believed to be likely impacted, including Texas and Louisiana.
Any anglers who cannot fish the rescheduled tournament will be refunded their entry fees if requested by close of business Friday, Sept. 30.
