Going Ike On The Web

(May 5, 2011) - Mike Iaconelli announces the launch of his new webisode series “Going Ike.” The reality-type series give fans a never before seen look into the life of a professional bass fisherman. The webisode show, which airs weekly from www.goingike.com, provides fans an up-close look into the hectic and fast-paced life of Iaconelli – his travels, tournament and leisure fishing, family life, fishing tips and instruction, and everything in-between. Going Ike delivers content that you won’t see anywhere else.

Fans will also get to meet the cast – the Iaconelli family, friends, co-anglers, and Iaconelli’s bass fishing alter-ego “Ike.”

Always on the cutting edge, Iaconelli is pioneering new ways to connect with his fans while building awareness of the sport. Going Ike does just that – think reality TV meets social media. Fans will be able to follow each new Going Ike episode on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

And who will be filming such an innovative and groundbreaking show? Iaconelli, of course. The entire show will be filmed by Iaconelli using compact digital camcorders provided by his sponsor – start-up camera company Hatcams LLC. The sponsor is also producing the show.

The series is scheduled to air weekly, but as Iaconelli notes, “New episodes of Going Ike may drop at any time so fans need to stay tuned. You never know what you’re going to see!” That means following Going Ike on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and the official Going Ike website at www.goingike.com.

C’mon, let’s go!
