George Kramer, often quoted on Bassresource.com, unveils his own website

Did you ever wonder who actually penned those words on the home page of Bassresource.com?
Yes, there really is a George Kramer, writer, photographer and opinionator. And now, some 19 years after he first published "a hundred things that worked and a thousand more that should have...," Kramer has finally caught up with the cyber generation, unveiling his new website www.kramergonefishing.com.
Always looking for the latest in methods and gagetry, Kramer will try to keep it real, but also keep it light. As he said recently, "I've walked the walk and talked the talk for 35 years. Now I'm going to try and blog the blog."
Kramer began his freelance writing career in 1973 and has rubbed elbows with the pros and crossed swords with the several organizations, but he has never forgotten how hard it was to get a straight answer when he was making his very first casts for bass. If there is a good story, a good tip, or a good piece of tackle, he'll tell you. And if it's not, you won't hear it from him.
Still, Kramer would have remained in relative (regional) obscurity, if it weren't for friends in the business. "How can I ever give enough credit to Glenn May and Bassresource.com?" asked Kramer. "I sold 20,000 copies of Bass Fishing: An American Tradition (1990). How many millions of hits did Glenn get on, 'Daybreaks, canebrakes, heartbreaks, muggy nights, and foggy mornings.' It's very humbling."
