My long time fishing buddy named his Ranger bassboat "Dire Straits" as this was his absolute favorite band.
A 5 foot jon boat?
I'd suggest the exact same name, but for a completely different reason!

your jon boat, you could have it wrapped around the entire boats, "I can hardly fit into this fishing vessel."
Your canoe- "My yacht"

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach him to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Seriously....why not just call them "Dad's" and "Mom's"
Friend---"Hey what are you doing this afternoon?"
Him-----"Oh nothing just taking "Dad's" out on the water"
Friend---"Well if your not using "Mom's" would you mind if I took it out?"
Just a bad situation waiting to happen. Plus who wants to call them that?
An actual name would be better!

Why not just get a bumper sticker made, it might just fit across the stern
It can read "My other boat is a canoe"
As long as it gets you on the wet stuff who cares how long it is.......... (I just made a funny)
