Every Bass fisherman works with worms and fishes them in multiple applications. bassdigest uses enormous amounts of worms and fishes almost every kind under the sun. So for us to say these worms are worth their weight in gold, you know there is something special here.
Al's worms out of California (www.alsworms.com), are some of the best quality hand-poured plastics we have ever fished! period. Chris ("AL")Aljihan offers up over 200 colors of custom hand poured worms. They are soaked in Anise and Salt, two scents favored by bassdigest Pros after years on the water working with all kinds of scents. We fished over 18 hours exclusively with these lures, covering miles of weedlines and milfoil pockets. In the time dedicated to these plastics, we hammered fish. The fish held on and did not want to give the bait back.
We fished their Craws, paddle tails, jig trailers and finesse worms. Everything, yes everyone caught fish. Whether on a drop shot on Lake Erie for smallies or on a jig worm against the weeds, fish found these baits. Overwhelming praise came from every direction under countless fishing conditions. These plastics are winners.
With so many styles and colors to choose from, we'd like to point out our favorites while fishing these sensational baits. The 4 inch paddle tails were amazing. We fished a CHABLIS color, which was a clearish red with fleck in it and this bait came to us in a 50ct
bag, we fished them all out. The total of fish was over 100 on that lure alone, paired with a
mushroom style jig. The 4 inch finesse worm on Lake Erie boated smallmouth after smallmouth.
The last choice of hand pour we really like was the Hammer 3 inch grub style bait. We fished this on spinnerbaits as a trailer, jig wormed, on a flippin' jig and texas rigged under docks and this bait never let us down. With a big curled tail and loaded scent the bass just wanted this bait.We fished it in a pumpkin/chartreuse combo color.
