This nice bass was caught on lake Shohola, Pennsylvania in July of 2000.
Jim Small caught this largemouth in one of the lakes at Banner Marsh, south of Peoria, Illinois. He was using a topwater Fenwick popper about 7:00 AM on July 8, 2000. He uses a very light setup (4lb Trilene with a Berkeley Pulse rod and an Abu Garcia Cardinal spinning reel), so he had fun catching him.
Fish Chris of California caught this 12 lb 5 oz Clear lake bass on a big Castaic Trout lure. She hit it about three feet from the end of his pole. Talk about a suprise! Go to page 79
