  1. Past hour
  2. i'm pro fc. i'm pretty much a slack liner, braid just feels dead to me other than tight line techniques. i use a eugene knot and have had no problems with break offs. i havent had an issue since i started inserting weights.
  3. Copolymer and mono are basically the same or at least I can't tell a difference. Now you have many different types of each, ranging from soft and more manageable (Trilene XL) to harder more durable lines (Trilene XT). Stren and Big Game seem to be in the middle somewhere. Of course there are countless others.
  4. Take your pick, there are a few here.. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/search/?q=copolymer line
  5. $9-$10 per jig is a tough sell. Innovative design and worth trying when they get to be bargain bin close outs. Time will tell. Tom
  6. I don't know much about copolymer line. Rather than rehash if it's been discussed before, is there a thread on it?
  7. My 2016 ZX225 that this forum helped me pick out.
  8. Really glad to hear it ! Here's a little bit more "advice". Developing an effective & safe 'routine' can really be very helpful. The steps for hooking up & unhooking your trailer to & from your tow vehicle, don't really change much. Neither does launching & recovering your rig on & off the trailer. Consider follow the same step (routine) every time and you'll be setting your self up for success. Additionally, Regardless of how "Busy" the boat ramp is - never let that make you get in a hurry or change your routine. If other boaters are in that much of a hurry they should have left earlier. And be careful who you accept "help" from, if you even choose to do that - I Do NOT- Ever. There's no way for you to know what a strangers experience or ability level is - Although they always have the best of intentions, they very well may not be very helpful at all. While everyone has their own 'way' of doing things, theirs may not be yours. I usually just smile, say thank you for asking, but I'm good. Have Fun A-Jay
  9. Hi Glenn - Thanks for your reply. I am using an ACER laptop (I5, 2.60 GHz processor), Windows 10 Home version, and Internet Explorer. I check 'properties' but cant find IE version. Winddows 10 was uploaded ~2.5 years ago. I look forward to your reply. Thanks again. Hi Glenn - continued from above...I am using Internet Explorer ver 11. Thanks again.
  10. For a while we had 8 malamutes - The hair was Out-Rageous. Pretty much a condiment around here. A-Jay
  11. We have had two Husky/Shepard mixes the last ten years or so, one is still with us. That^, is exactly what it’s like. You can literally brush until your arms hurt, and there’s still a garbage bag full of hair to be removed. It’s almost hard to believe how in the world they can actually produce hair that fast, if I could sell it for even pennies, I’d be a billionaire.
  12. Hi guys I saw a Daiwa Tatula HD Custom 153HL-TW for sale. I couldn't find any review for this, looks like its a jdm reel. Anyone tried it before can share with me your experience? What's the difference between this and other tatula? Thanks
  13. I'm getting ready to get a new boat and would like any opinions on Tracker boats and Mercury outboards. The closest dealer to me is a Tracker dealership that uses Mercury outboards. I've read horrible reviews of people being without their boats for months because of issues with Tracker not wanting to honor their warranty. Same with Mercury. Any thoughts welcomed Thank you
  14. Colder denser water has more O2. - Marine biology major in college. LOL
  15. 3/16 oz bullet, 3/0 round bend offset shank, 15 lb invizx, worm or lizard fan cast the area out as far as you can and let it sink to the bottom. drag it back with the rod tip, reel up the slack, repeat. move down the bank doing this. hit em hard 👍
  16. That Dance-N-Eel is a great lure with amazing action. Nice to see some of the older lures show up.
  17. Does anyone know the difference? I have one SS and 3 QW and am not sure what the real difference is. Pic is of 2 QW.
  18. Some guys use Stellas to bass fish, so why not Yeti to keep beers and sandwiches cold. It's equally silly, but last I checked this is still 'Merica! So everyone is free to spend their $ on whatever they want. Now which NRX is best for...
  19. I spent about $120.00 for a pair of Brooks walking/running shoes. Based on some of the other comments I’ve read here, I wouldn’t dare say what I’ve got in some of my dress shoes😏
  20. I went out and with the help of everyone on here I did it alone with ease Thank you ! @WRB @A-Jay @MickD @TnRiver46
  21. Yesterday
  22. Anything silver or white is good. Most of them want to chase it so you probably can’t fish to fast
