  2. 10# Berkley Big Game on a Lew’s Mach 1 reel, 6’, 10” med/hvy Mach 1 rod, 1/8 oz. Berkley half head jig. Works great.

It’s a pickerel covered in dirt. I didn’t want to rinse it and try for another pick.
  4. I have 1 bc setup for Ned rig fishing. It is a Shimano Curado 70 loaded with 6 # fluorocarbon line mounted on a Gloomis Bronzeback 6'9" ml rod. I make my own heads and use 3/32 oz and heavier heads on it.
  5. They don't spawn until it hits the 60s for water temp.
  6. You must be talking about the tournament mb and not the pro. In that case what these guys said applied.
  7. 10 pound Sufix Advance on a leash tournament pro on a 7 foot medium Johnny Morris Patriot rod. 1/5. Oz trd zman jighead.
  8. Today
  9. I didn't like Floroclear. 10# broke way too easy. Some others on here have also mentioned having problems with it. I can highly recommend AN40.
  10. The new zman spinnerbaits have really been crushing it. I’ve only had them for two days but they’ve caught allot of fish from the banks. Thanks to the how long do you let your baits sit thread I’ve been doing really well with jigs also.

Just not the kind I was looking for. Still one heck of a fight out of this guy. Sorry for the crappy pic he was still pretty feisty flopping around and got covered in dirt. I really thought I was into a pretty big bass before I got to see it.
  12. The description is wrong. It does have the Air Rotor, but it does not have the Air Bail. You can clearly see in the picture on BPS and on the Daiwa site. I've never owned a Daiwa. I've tried Shimano and Pflueger, and now I want my next spinner to be a Daiwa to see how they compare. I came close to buying the RG-AB when Overton's had that 40% off sale, now they're all gone. Maybe replaced by a newer model?
  13. What type 1/20oz jig head? I wanted to try swimZ and TRD on 1/20oz but I only got ball jig head in 1gram and 1.5 grams.
  14. A project that I need to finish. Someday.
  15. I cast them from Do-it's Midwest Finesse mold with the Owner 5313 hook, size 1. https://www.barlowstackle.com/Do-It-Midwest-Finesse-Jig-Mold-with-Wire-Keeper-P3414.aspx
  16. Side imaging won’t work. As long as you install it properly, down imaging will work.
  17. What DVT said. I'm not sure why they are spring loaded but maybe it is to insure that they brake in a more narrow spool speed band or to just keep them quiet when not casting use. I have noticed that some centrifugal brake reels that dont have spring load brake shoes will drag on the centrifugal race when the handle is turned or when the spool is flicked as gravity pulls the brakes on the bottom of the spool into contact with the race. You will hear a soft "hisss" sound. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrifugal_force
  18. Try now. If it still does it, then you're spelling it wrong.
  19. I'm wanting to throw the Whopper plopper 130 and s-waver 168 which are both under 2oz. I think I saw a post by you stating you threw a 2.5oz spro bbz-1 rat 50 just fine as well So I should be fine with the Whopper plopper 130 and s-waver 168 right WRB? Since you feel this rod is fine throwing a 2.5oz rat and lures up to 3oz, do you feel I could get away with throwing a spro bbz-1 (2-2.5oz depending on which one)
