  2. The description is wrong. It does have the Air Rotor, but it does not have the Air Bail. You can clearly see in the picture on BPS and on the Daiwa site. I've never owned a Daiwa. I've tried Shimano and Pflueger, and now I want my next spinner to be a Daiwa to see how they compare. I came close to buying the RG-AB when Overton's had that 40% off sale, now they're all gone. Maybe replaced by a newer model?

  4. What type 1/20oz jig head? I wanted to try swimZ and TRD on 1/20oz but I only got ball jig head in 1gram and 1.5 grams.
  5. A project that I need to finish. Someday.
  6. I cast them from Do-it's Midwest Finesse mold with the Owner 5313 hook, size 1. https://www.barlowstackle.com/Do-It-Midwest-Finesse-Jig-Mold-with-Wire-Keeper-P3414.aspx
  7. Side imaging won’t work. As long as you install it properly, down imaging will work.
  8. What DVT said. I'm not sure why they are spring loaded but maybe it is to insure that they brake in a more narrow spool speed band or to just keep them quiet when not casting use. I have noticed that some centrifugal brake reels that dont have spring load brake shoes will drag on the centrifugal race when the handle is turned or when the spool is flicked as gravity pulls the brakes on the bottom of the spool into contact with the race. You will hear a soft "hisss" sound. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrifugal_force
  9. frank horrigan death Which one do you think will work best in your area? Allen
  10. Try now. If it still does it, then you're spelling it wrong.
  11. I'm wanting to throw the Whopper plopper 130 and s-waver 168 which are both under 2oz. I think I saw a post by you stating you threw a 2.5oz spro bbz-1 rat 50 just fine as well So I should be fine with the Whopper plopper 130 and s-waver 168 right WRB? Since you feel this rod is fine throwing a 2.5oz rat and lures up to 3oz, do you feel I could get away with throwing a spro bbz-1 (2-2.5oz depending on which one)
  12. According to the description it does Its smooth, balanced Air Rotor with Air Bail system further reduces weight by another 15% ------- I have the Daiwa RG-AB and would choose it again over my president no hesitation. Would even rather by another RG-AB over my Supreme XT or Stradic. I see no benefit to the higher priced reels.
  13. If I use a straight shank hook with a screw in bullet wt. and a curly tail worm, would the straight shank hook make the worm NOT look natural ? being it's a curly tail ?
  14. Yes, they skip very easily with bc reels too. I use 10 pound braid and mostly 1/20oz jighead.
  15. If you like your president, and want something faster and lighter I would suggest the president XT. You can usually find them for $60.
  16. My driving glasses are Oakley canteens and they fog up much easier than my Costa tuna alley 580p. IMO brand has little to do with it. Fit, temperature and humidity are all factors.
  17. This is what i would suggest also. Bought one when I was traveling and it is a pretty decent setup. I had it spooled with 8lb mono and was useing it for poppers and wacky senkos.
  18. kastking centron ... 59.98 ... https://www.amazon.com/KastKing-Centron-Spinning-Reel-Stainless/dp/B07D6LWWY9 good fishing ...
  19. There's no way it only holds that much 30# Sufix braid. I would think it would hold at least 150 yards.
