Yeah. I only had one bite but I goofed on the hookset. The fish my buddy caught were tight to the shoreline. I mean maybe a foot of water.

Blu & Exile - The Narrow Path

I think this happens more with surf fishing on rocky points and stuff. But I know how easy it is to lose balance on a wobbly rock and fall. I've done it a few times this year.

;D here's how it went 1st motor-fishing line wrapped up in the prop. 2nd motor-the wiring shorts at battery. Melts the insulation and almost starts a fire 3rd motor-head full of water, shorts out 100 yards from shore. We row back
