I took all of last week off. With weekends and memorial day I had 10 days off. Man I needed that. Started off slow. I was skunked the whole weekend. But monday picked up and I was back at it. I fished my honey hole mostly but hit up fountainhead and a few other spots in the area. Most of my fish were 1-3 pounders. A few nicer ones early in the week Heres my buddy with a nice one. I think this was my biggest of the week, caught early on with a spinnerbait. My buddy landed a pretty nice cat at fountainhead. It hit his sebile magic swimmer, the smaller version. Man..Back to work. Until next time...

You can park at the floating dock you guys launch at, and follow the trail. But bring some sort of bug spray or something. I was out there wednesday and thursday and had tons of pin head size ticks crawling all over me.

Red light, green light eh? ;D That snake was not worried by me, I lifted its tail with my rod and it was just crawlin along.

nextel can only direct connect with nextel phones on the iDen network. Cingular offers this but is only compatible with cingular on their network. Same thing with sprint. (I know nextel/sprint are the same company, but they are still on different networks.) The only way that you could use a SIM in a phone from another company would be if we were in europe or asia, or any country other than America where they don't lock their phones. Even some of the older nextels use different SIM cards, Like the double digit series. (i65, i95) But the i305 and i355 should be interchangeable, but like I said before, I would contact Nextel/sprint when you get your new phone to activate you old SIM under your new IMEI or else all of your applications may not work.

cingular has direct connect, so does sprint. But they are sent through the data network and are delayed a few seconds. All walkie talkie features are exclusive to each company.

I used to sell nextel a couple years ago. Sometimes we had people come in with similar problems. I would just say make sure your using the correct line. On most nextels you have two lines. One with your number attached, and another if you want to add another line. Most people only have one line though, and by playing with the options accidentally switch the number to an inactive line. On the screen it says 1, so I'm not even sure thats the problem, but I would take it to a Nextel direct store and have someone take a look at it.

I don't think you need any specialized equipment to throw smaller swimbaits. But if you think you might want to step it up a little, I have an Okuma 7'11" MH that is rated for 3/4-3 oz. Very nice rod.

I don't drink very much, but their summer ale is great.
