    Welcome to Bass Resource.
  3. I'm an apprentice wireman for the IBEW and I love it. I've been doing electrical work for the last 4 years and have no complaints at all. Its a good trade to get into. Always need electricians! Yeah, I just don't think I can get paid as much as I do now as an apprentice. I was thinking about taking night classes to get certified, but still don't know if I would get paid enough starting out with no work experience. I took a class in high school and really liked it.
  4. I learned the hard way two weeks ago. Spent about 3 hours throwing lures at a group of carp. ;D I didn't know carp would jump out of the water, but I eventually snagged one on accident and brought back a scale the size of a half dollar on my hook.
  5. I feel you. Im in the same boat. Im thinking about becoming an electrician, just need to figure out how I'm goin to get started.
  6. Nice.
  7. Nice catch, I bet that got your heart going.
  8. Great fish! Looks like things are picking up over there.
  9. I'm with this guy on this one. 8-) x3
  10. x2. I came across this in the flea market and was really thinking about it. Looks great with the reel.
  11. SHAME ON YOU *Shakes finger* ;D
  12. I'm not saying that I have a problem with responsible breeders. Its people who think they know what there doing just putting to dogs together to make a "special" breed. If educated research is done to ensure your breeding positive traits, and doing it because its your passion, not for money, Im all about it. There's this guy who I really admire for his work in re-creating the bulldogge of yesteryear. http://gargoylebulldogs.com/GARGOY~1/Page_1x.html (website graphics are a little silly but hey) If you read the bloodline link, you can see how he did it and why. Quite possibly the most game dog ever bred.
  13. Bebe's kids ;D ;D For real though, I went through some of the same things in high school that your son did Micro. I was eventually expelled because some guys I knew were having an altercation with another student, after school. I never touched him or threatened him. I was there, and that was enough to expel me. Even though I returned the money that the student threw to get the guys to leave him alone. I apologized for their actions an promised it wouldn't happen again. I should have just kept walking home.
  14. At least once a month, when I take my dog out for a walk, I get "ayo, you tryin to breed her". When I tell them she's fixed and their faces twist up like they just got whiff of a bad fart. I tell them there are plenty of great dogs put to sleep in shelters everyday. But no one wants to jump through those hoops. license, shots, home inspection. Plus you could make a grip of money on these pups. But its just not worth it to me.
  15. You need a permit to own a gun? :-? Well I was kind of refering to telecasters comment about getting police approval. I guess Im just saying I don't think I would make it past the application process.
  16. Looks like my Carolina pick in the office pool was a decent one. ;D I don't know jack about sports.
  17. I don't think any judge in his right mind would grant me a permit to even own a gun. ;D
  18. These puppy mills are highly unethical. Breeding only for traits such as color and size and not taking health into consideration. I agree that people need to wisen up and stop buying from backyard breeders, but in the end it is the fault of the breeder. Because when the dog has health or temperment problems, where does it go? the shelter. The only real loss is by the dog (and maybe a few $ by the previous owner).
  19. He will be in my prayers Dan.
  20. ;D just some of my favorites.
  21. All I really use is XT. Its a mono so its definitely got some stretch. But its a tough line. Not great in cold water though.
