  1. I think BUCKEYEone is right, people don't do the research. Also I think people just don't mind paying for convenience. Rather sit on their butt than have to actually get up an go to the store.

  22. Well last year, sometime in the fall Muddy sent me a MOOK t-shirt. It meant a lot to me. I thanked him in a PM but didn't want to thank him on the board until I had a picture of me wearing it and holding a fish. Unfortunately cold weather moved in and the fish went elsewhere. Well I had a chance to get out today for the first time since winter and it just happened to be a nice day. Well I got my picture and I got my fish, and whadayaknow? It was a new PB. I started out at Occoquan Regional Park and as I suspected the rain from last night had stirred up the mud and the water was pretty stained. So I headed to a honey hole a co-worker put me on. I wasn't sure I would have any luck but I made the hike. I got to this large "pond" and didn't know where to start. Until I saw a 3 pounder come straight out of the water about 10 feet away from me. I knew I was in the right spot. I started out with a jerkbait, and they would not touch it. I didn't have any really good topwater baits and I knew they had to be chasing some sort of baitfish even though I couldn't see any. I was about to tie on a jig when I remembered I had picked up one of those LF magic shads from walmart. Tied on one in watermelon and this girl inhaled it as I swam it over a submerged weed bed. After this one distroyed the swimbait I tied on a football jig and had another 3 pounder freight train it. The picture did not come out well. I didn't catch anything else and decided to go home. When I got home I was greeted by my girlfriend who had a suprise for me. A ridiculous tackle bag. Holds eight boxes. An amazing day thanks to a lucky shirt. Thanks again Muddy!
