the best advice is to take just jigs to the lake, nothing but jigs and trailers and just fish them until you find what the fish want

I bought a bunch of little johns at BPS on sale a few weeks ago. They are flat sided cranks that dive about 3-4ft i tried it for a few casts the other day just to see the action and it looks pretty good. Im sure that i wont be disappointed with my purchase dd11

the charlie has a nice action that looks like an actual fish, the basstrix cause vibrations with the paddle tail. i would say...if you want a little more attention for your bait, use the bastrix and use the charlie for clear calm conditions
