  1. This is my experiece with them, i will not buy the yamamotas or kinamis. They aren't worth the price you pay at all, I personally will only use the tiki worms, they have a better scent, they are real durable, and and are soft like the senkos and have the same action maybe even a lil more. I can't stand some of the other brands b/c they are as hard as rocks and have no action to them what so ever! On a side note i can't stand wacky rigging them at all, I do a weightless t-rig, and I have caught a ton of fish that way. Trflshfl (jay) and I kind of got into a discussion over this a couple of days ago after i made the remarks like above. I was out on the lake and I picked up one and just set it in the water and nothing... I was like what the hell, so i hooked up a kinami, it had good action but there soft, then i picked up a tiki and bam perfect action and i have caught 6 or so fish on just one tiki as a senko or kinami you get maybe 1 just my 2 cents
  2. It seems to me that i get better service at sportsmans, when im at gander they pretty much show you what your looking for but don't have any real good advice. I go to sportsmans and I can get help with anything, I also found out about most of the clubs around here b/c one of the guys of the store is a member of one of them, they all seem to be real into their jobs. Hey damien did you by chance used to work at dicks, in wichita?
  3. There isn't a fuse between the alternator and the battery, now fuses between everything else yes. Take ur battery out and charge it, or take it to walmart, autozone, oreilys and have them check it and see if it has a bad cell in it. Another thing is, like way2slow said, start your motor and see if you are charging by putting a dvom on the battery and if ur voltage is between 13-15 volts your good.
  4. Long Mike and I went out, and it was really windy... plus the lake we were going to fish we couldn't even get to the ramp. We went to lake 2 and ya didn't catch anything
  5. I like their frogs with the watermelon top and yellow bottom. I tried there senko style bait and didn't like it, i personally thought it was to hard. They do stand up to everything whether it be fish or cover
  6. hey hey now, thats just what i had heard... 8-)
  7. I use a fenwick light action fast tip rod... it feels like a medium to me, i love it
  8. Well, im underage, but i hear that evan williams and diet pepsi is really good, thats if you are going cheap. Rebel yell is pretty good from what i hear for cheap whiskey. Makers mark, jd single barrel, and no canadian
  9. From what i have heard, that bps bought out pflueger. I know that bps, pflueger, and browning are all made in the same plant. my 2 cents
  10. I told trfylshufle (jay) to start readin up on bass fishing last year when he first started bass fishing seriously with me. Then next trip he is asking me questions i had no idea how to answer and some of them i had no idea what he was talking about. Next thing you know im on here reading and posting.
  11. I haven't bought one yet but im a non boater in tournaments. Every boat i have been on has the lowrance combo units, and thats pretty much what im looking at for my boat. just my 2 cents
  12. what did u use to finish the graphite between the grips?
  13. You also need to take into consideration is Chrysler/Dodge even gonna be around in the next 10 years. They have been bailed out by the .gov twice and Mercedes was the latest to try and turn them around and found it was a lost cause and dumped them. Like it or not Mercedes is probably the most reliable best built cars on the road. I never thought much of them till my cousin started working at a delaership as a mechanic and was telling me how well built they are, and I have helped him work on his personal Mercedes and they are built like tanks. Get this the new warranty is 36K like all others but say you have transmission go out, which I haven't heard him talk about unless the car had 200K+, but you can buy a rebuilt trans from Mercedes and they give a 100K warranty on the rebuilt ones.
  14. While screaming the rocks the rocks... you were trying to keep the boat afloat. Cute picture, my dad couldn't keep me out of the garage where all the big boy toys were
  15. You know your addicted when your dorm room smells like garlic and your roommates ask you what your cookin
  16. My buddy caught an albino catfish in the arkansas river, in wichita, kansas. I like using shad sides, minnows, bluegill, or chicken liver... I really don't catfish that much anymore
  17. I would have bought pretty much all left-handed reels... I would have taken one thing at a time, spent money on good rods. The left handed reels thing is my current rant b/c I love them
  18. You should be able to buy a cruise control kit through toyota, i know on the dodges its just putting the buttons in and telling the computer it has cruise. You also have to remember you get a lifetime powertrain warranty with a dodge, I have heard that toyota is having quality control issues, plus your having to pay more for toyota parts versus dodge... just my 2 cents even though it is kind of biased I don't know what your talking about when it comes to brakes, the guys carrying huge goosenecks and have huge rims and tires... yes they have problems b/c they don't properly upgrade when they do all of that and i've seen alot of people towing way to much on a half ton truck. We have some front u-joint issues but those are the 3500 that are 4x4. honestly there isn't anything that really sticks out when it comes down to those vehicles especially the gas motors. Plus if something does go wrong you have a warranty for the life of the truck
  19. Deep water fish, crankbaits (I hate them with a passion), then the good ol buzzbait. Jigs on the other hand i love to fish, and anything plastic
  20. Sure looks like they came back??? Lol go JAYHAWKS!
  21. I believe american racing is now putting out camo rims, you might want to check those out, those would look good. The srt10 trucks are alright, u can get them way cheaper now b/c they aren't selling very well at all. All the chrysler reps are driving these and the srt8 chargers etc. b/c they aren't selling well at all.
  22. the 5.7l gets crappy mileage, the 4.7 and 3.7l are pretty good on gas, good power. I hate chevy... see im going to oklahoma state for chrysler, i drive a s-10... ya give me a dodge and i can do anything to it, u give me a chevy and i hate doing anything on it... its more of a knowledge and know how thing since i work on these day in day out. Another option is the dakota, good trucks... personally i hate the way the new ones look but thats a matter of opinion
  23. Ok, I'm a dodge technician... The only stipulation to the lifetime warranty is that every 5 years you have to get it inspected by a dodge dealer, ya thats it. Do your maintenance though b/c they could come back and ask for receipts for it, i don't know for sure yet if thats what they will do but i have a strong feelin thats what will happen. Aftermarket exhaust is ok as long as its cat back, which is fine it doesn't really do much anymore on these cars performace wise. Now a chip, if you are going to do it stick with mopar, won't void your warranty or anything. If a technician sees that you have had a chip in your vehicle we can void the warranty and then your done. The 3.7 is a really good motor, its a really strong a durable engine. If it was me i would look into the 4.7l b/c it gets about the same on gas mileage, its only 30 horsepower less than the hemi's.
  24. My grandfather has an 04 dodge 2500 4x4 with 1.5 million miles on it... ya hard to believe, he has refreshed the engine every 300,000 miles. Since it is a cummins u can do it right in the truck in about 10 hours. He owns a wide load escort company and is on the road all the time, pretty much non-stop thats why there are so many miles on it
