  1. The reason I ask if they gave you a pioneer harness is because the 1858 will connect to your car harness and the 1858 will make the one end universal. With that universal end you will than connect it to the pioneer harness from your radio to the 1858. Car Harness--> <---1858---><----Pioneer---><--Deck--> If you don't get the harnesses you could always just solder by hand it will just take a little while. You say 12's so are you talking about subwoofers? If you are talking subwoofers you will need the subs an amp and an amp kit which would include a fuse block, 8 or 10 gauge wire, ground wire, speaker wire, and RCAs. They run around 40-60 bucks. When you add subs it gets pricey. You will need to decide on what subs you would like to go with then find an amp that will best fit your sub or subs selection then the amp kit. The cost will usually be about $300 for a basic sub setup brand new.
  2. You can go to http://www.metraonline.com/fit.aspx and find the harness number and search around for it. The cost is a couple bucks to produce it and I used to sell them for around $15-$20 huge mark up on those things. Eclipse used to be a huge name in the industry and you will enjoy them I'm sure. Are they going to give you a pioneer harness? I just did a quick search on metra for a 91 chevy caprice wagon. You can recheck it if you want, but this should be the one. The 1858, crutchfield might say which they suggest as well. http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&source=hp&q=70-1858&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wf

  4. Bridge jumping, cliff diving, ice fishing on thin ice, too many alcohol incidents, and skydiving. I am sure there are more from the past and will be more in the future.. I'm still young!

I highly doubt that he had someone on the "inside", but who knows. Many Cabelas checkers and customer service are women. Do you honestly think the majority of those women would know the difference between a $20 rod and a $500 one? I am not sexist and I know there are some women out there that know a Steez from an Ugly Stick, but for the most part... they don't. It seems most of the stealing was from Cabelas, and I know Cabelas tracks returns. When you return an item to Cabelas they ask for your Drivers License and I am sure the information is put into a database. If you think about it 19,000 could only be 30-40 items possibly even less.
  6. Crutchfield is a good one. If you purchase a deck $129.99 and up they will send you the wire harnesses, antenna adapters, and fit kit for free. Most stores will charge you around 40-60 bucks for that stuff. They should also have the speaker guide for your vehicle. They also have great customer service. They are not the cheapest out there, but they make it a pain free process.

Just because someone has mass amounts of tackle doesn't mean they are thieves. I can think of 10 people (off the top of my head) from the forum and that I know personally off the site that have as much or more tackle. Are we to suspect all of them as thieves? This of course just for the people who keep commenting on how much tackle this guy has.
  8. I am looking for advice and some direction concerning web design. It would be great if you were good with PHP, MYSQL, and Dreamweaver. If you could answer some questions for me either reply to this and I will PM you or PM me. I appreciate it. Thanks!
  9. That is reassuring to hear that from you Bassn!
  10. Probably because they don't know there is better out there! I am surprised that California, New York, and New Jersey are on the bottom.
  11. Thanks bowfish for the rage tail baits. What are your favorite ways to rig the craws?
  12. That's all fun an games but I know most of the people in this thread, this guys comes out of nowhere and picks my mom to insult? If he had made a joke about me thats fine, I wouldnt care but mother jokes esp given the fact that he's a stranger is crossing the line You want a mom joke.. I got your mom joke. "Yo mama so fat, the only way to get her thru a doorway is to butter the sides, and put a twinkie at the other end..." How bout this joke What places 36th on the Potomac with a 6lb 5 fish limit? What places 40th at 1000 Islands with a skunk? That guy up here thats who... impressive FLW college career sir LOL I will own up to the Potomac tourney. I never fished the 1000 island tournament that was a boo boo by the flw. I was indeed in Canada, but fishing with my family on vacation.

  14. Yeah right, Robby, this is probably EXACTLY how your night went after the PSU/Iowa game...ending up stumbling around a neighbors house with women's clothing on. You cannot prove a thing!
  15. So did a thousand other people, what's your point? Your mom must really be a special lady. ;D
  16. hahahaha.......
  17. Why does your mom use the same look then? Oh yeh I took it to that level.
  18. Alright....how old were you? The first time I got drunk? I think I was around 14 and it was on fuzzy navels and my dad's 40th. Since then I rarely drink......
  19. What is an "explanation" point? :-? Is that the point in time when you tell your parents about not liking girls anymore? Dan? ;D lol. Shut up Wayne. I wrote that after I had just come home from a long evening at the Botanical Gardens viewing Christmas decorations so needless to say, I was not very alert. Brotha, let me give you a little advice. When your rebuttal to a "coming out" joke includes the phrases BOTANICAL GARDENS and CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS, it doesn't help your case one bit. ;D Look at it this way, at least you guys can still fish down there. ;D This is an unfair fight... Wayne has about 15 years of arguing experience on Dan?.
  20. I would like to have a conversation with Ike. Ike grew up in Jersey/Philly area. He fished many of the same areas around me. He always says that its not his natural talent that it is the hard work and dedication that makes him the angler he is. I respect that and I feel the same way. If I ever do well in tournaments (ie a healthy amount of 10 finishes) it will be because I put my time in and work hard and not my natural talent. I also like the fact that he is a scrappy fishermen.. he will throw everything and anything and fast. Take the flw cup this past year as an example. I wouldn't be surprised if he was throwing an inline spinner or some other un characteristic bass baits.
  21. E21 Ben and Rayre from this forum both made it to the national championship this year. Huge props to both guys and their partners. E21 Ben from NC State and Rayre from Oregon.
  22. This is ridiculous. I didn't even know four year olds were that smart to figure that out. I think it's sad.
  23. Your welcome, I hope you like the stuff and that those lures will work well for you. Those two jigs sorry there was no packaging the guy doesn't package his jigs. His jigs are on ebay if you search Cheeseburger Jigs it will show his jigs. I really like the two colors I sent you. The one with the orange in it is called Smallie Killer and the other one is the original Cheeseburger jig color. I know you wanted lighter jigs, but I figured those would work well for the ledges and the bitsy bug jigs have become one of my favorites over the last year. I will post when I receive your package in the mail, the only thing you owe me is a picture of some quality fish caught this upcoming year! Have a great holiday.
  24. I have been doing college fishing for 3 years now. If you want you can shoot me a PM. I will cover what I can think of off the top of my head. The majority of sponsorships are product discounts and free product. I know of a few teams who borrow boats from the manufacturer. I also know of a few teams who get an allowance, but those teams are slim to none. There are tournament series that do provide boats and many who don't. The FLW collegiate series will provide boats as well as the CBAA. Other tournament series such as Boat U.S., Under Armour, and all the other opens you need to bring your own boat or find a loaner. We have found loaner boats on a few different occasions. It is worth a shot, but it takes some sweet talking and some personal boating experience. Some of the waters are dangerous and if you tear a lower unit off your in deep. Much of our funding comes from our college. At Penn State our team is basically a school club. Every school club gets an allowance, and they will pay for food, gas, and hotel. The catch is that we need to get out vehicle information, hotel information, safety officers (many positions take training), and a lot of various other paperwork. It is a lot to keep track of, but it's worth it. Every college is different and approach clubs/teams differently. If you have any other questions that I didn't cover just PM me. I have been in the system for a little while and know the ropes to at least some degree.
