  1. I just got a text from him, and he would take Juan Francisco in place of Prado. I just don't know if I want to give up that much pitching for one bat, though the value is there.
  2. They definitely weren't bad decisions, as they let to a trip to the NLCS. It was worth it: the Crew has made the playoffs twice in the last few years...before that the last time was 1982.
  3. He countered with Beltre, Gee, and Wheeler for Prado, Papelbon, and Masterson. The only issue here is as much as Prado is been down all year, he is really my only option at 2B...and our wire is ridiculously thin at 2B.
  4. I am using a Shimano Calcutta TE 101GT on the exact same rod, and it makes for a great combo. I have been using it for 3/8-1/2oz swim jigs with 4" trailers.
  5. I countered with Tillman, Papelbon, and Juan Francisco for Beltre and Gee. Their respective values are pretty much dead nuts.
  6. Milwaukee's system is dry. They gutted the farm for the Greinke and Marcum trades, while sending other pieces here and there for guys like K-Rod, Morgan, etc.
  7. Good to hear...Milwaukee could use an extra one after losing their first in this year's draft for the Lohse signing.
  8. I can't wait for this one! This will fill a nice niche. I hope the Blue Craw pattern comes out soon.
  9. Man, I love that bait as well. I can remember one trip to Ontario where I was flat out slaying pencil reed pike on the Moss Boss.
  10. Yea, I like what I saw too. I am going to have to check one out. The pattern that was being used in the video looks killer. The Roadkill Race Craw is on my list...I just pray they make in in the Baby Craw. I am alos glad to see some lighter baitfish colors in the Shellcracker.
  11. SP isn't my strongest position, but RP is. My rotation consists of Verlander, Masterson, Kluber, Tillman, Miguel Gonzales, and Esmil Rogers. The only 3B on the wire Brett Wallace and Plouffe. Great stats, thanks! I am in agreement with you, just still taking my time. I may counter with Frazier plus RP for Beltre, as the guy is very weak at RP.
  12. I could use a guy at 3B as Middlebrooks has tanked the first half, and Todd Frazier has been a bit of a disappointment. I offered a buddy a trade for Beltre, and he countered with Beltre+Gee for Masterson+Perkins. Thoughts?
  13. I'm pretty excited to check out the Baby Pop X.
  14. That is the Daiwa Presso: http://www.japantackle.com/Daiwa/Daiwa_Presso_Bait.htm
  15. They'll have to pry my Chronarch Mgs and TD-Z from my cold dead hands. Shimano's DC system and Daiwa's Mag 3D have gotten stellar reviews on the new end of the reel time line.
  16. I was really targeting him in this year's draft, but luckily so was a buddy. Yea, bummer for him...and definitely not good for Amaro.
  17. It is amazing what a simple flick of the wrist will do with this reel...small/light baits really take off. Congrats!
  18. Gammel tore his ACL, again, this Spring. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, huh? Lol. Yea, with the third worst record in baseball it's been a crummy year. Hopefully they can make some good trades later this month an restock the system.
  19. Cory Hart is out for the year. The real bummer is with him in a contract year, and the Crew likely to be sellers next month, a NY Yankees/Crew trade is not happening...with Tex out for the season and all. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/milwaukee-1b-corey-hart-213127317--mlb.html
  20. For sure! Agreed he is a great number two and would be the best number three in the game. He would look like a stud atop Milwaukee's rotation, as Gallardo just isn't getting it done.
  21. The Phils need him to be a save getting machine to maximize his value should they decide to shop him next month.
  22. There is also a four incher in the Powerbait lineup.
  23. How is everyone's fantasy team(s) doing? Mine is crap. A lot of the guys I drafted, and am still hanging onto, just aren't putting up the numbers I expected so far: Prado, Billy Butler, Bonifacio, Konerko, and even Verlander to an extent...though his K rate is good. Middlebrooks has been a bust, as has Doc. What really rubs salt into the wound is guys I was targeting, but didn't get, are doing quite well. Matt Harvey comes to mind.
  24. 2004 Daiwa Pixy & St. Croix LTB Drop Shot stick.
  25. Here are two I am partial to. More to follow when I get off my lazy rear. Daiwa Sol & St. Croix LEC68MXF.
