  1. Very nice. I have a feeling the Skittles pattern would be a good walleye producer.
  2. What weights do you commonly throw? Some reels are better suited for baits over 3/8oz., and some excel with the lighter stuff.
  3. I'd be curious as to what the two spools weigh.
  4. The first thing I would do is max a few credit cards at Japan Tackle. I would then buy tickets/reservations to follow the Milwaukee Brewers around for a long road trip.
  5. A 7" Tequila Sunrise Powerworm, t-rigged, was my very first confidence lure.
  6. They could bend the heck out of the metal frame. I've had spinnerbaits where I've said, if I catch a pike, this thing should survive, only to end up with a demolished frame.
  7. Farm and Fleet currently has Shad Raps at $4.99.
  8. The Crew extended catcher Jonathan Lucroy with a five year deal: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/03/brewers-extend-jonathan-lucroy.html
  9. I own a Steez 100HLA, the 7'1" Compile-X, and the 6' casting rod. I feel the Steez line is not worth the MSRP, but that's just my opinion. Granted they are VERY nice, but overpriced. I purchased all of the above at discounted prices. The Compile-X now retails for $600, and that's absurd. While it is a very nice stick, it is not as sensitive as my Legend Elites, GLX, and NRX...and all of these sticks cost less than the Steez. If someone wants to spend six bills on a rod, IMHO custom is the only way to go. One could purchase a heck of a custom rod for $600. The reel is ridiculously refined, and a joy to cast. Is it worth $540? Not in my opinion. As I said, I purchased the above at discounted prices. I believe they are worth every penny that I paid for them, and am very happy with my purchases, but I would never pay retail. The 6'3" Steez is presently on my short list, but only if I find one at a very good used price.
  10. I've seen a ton of Cky stuff over the years. That said, if I was a LEO in their area, I would have consistently hammered those kids to the full extent of the law. Their total lack of respect for other people's property gets my blood boiling.
  11. It's a fantastic shallow/med crank reel. It will also work very well for blades. I use mine for hollow belly swimbaits. It really is a superb reel.
  12. Tough break for the Reds, as Ryan madson will miss the entire 2012 season: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/03/ryan-madson-out-for-season.html

Bone or black. They're not sexy, but they work.
  14. Just out of curiosity, when fishing for those 'eyes, what size do you use, and how do you rig them? Thanks.
  15. Agreed. Apparently the Saints have been giving the commissioner's office quite a run-around. I'm sure it really ticked the big man off.
  16. We will buddy. We'll do our best to lift him, and his family, up. Cancer is such a devistating disease. I will pray on it today.
  17. As an Elway hater I agree.
  18. Yup. He assumed office Sept. 1, 2006. Spygate was 07-08, as the pats lost their first round pick in the 2008 draft.
  19. I'm not saying I disagree with the punishment for the Saints, but given the severity, I believe the pats should have received a harsher punishment for spygate.
  20. Michael Myers, by a landslide. None of them really scared me like him. To this day, I still have a reoccurring nightmare about him trying to kill me. They are usually pretty horrific.
  21. Bad new for Royals fans, as Joakim Soria appears to have a serious elbow injury: http://sports.yahoo....ap-royals-soria Also, it looks like Miggy is going to miss a little time following a scary injury yesterday: http://sports.yahoo....-cabrerainjured I was reading something about the field where the Tigers played the phils yesterday, and I guess the condition of the infield was terrible: rocks and such. Apparently it was so bad, the Tigers almost refused to play the game; they were worried about the balls taking bad hops. A few innings later:
  22. Ha! Pretty good.
  23. Serving stoned teenagers since 1962. Back in the day, I spent a lot of "altered" hours at TB.
  24. It's good to hear that they have. I don't recall reading about it, but i will take your word. I just really feel for the people who have had to send the same rod back four times. I've read about several people having to got through that. Most have reported the same runaround from the call center at Loomis: there won't be any more problems, as they have been fixed; etc.
  25. That's all they really owned up to. They have only specifically addressed the original problems. I've not heard anything about the countless rods with obvious cosmetic flaws. The QC on these flagship sticks are crap. I am not a hater, as I own a NRX. I love my 802C, and it has a very specific place in my arsenal. That said, with the rampant lack of QC on $400-$500 sticks, I'll spend my money on future rods elsewhere. I'm glad to hear the process has been painless Bassn.
