I like to T-tig them with a 1/4oz bullet weight. Outlet has all of their Kut Tails, including the 10" model, for $3.99 a pack.

...and my #1 on a shakeyhead. In my hands they seem to have a better, more subtle action than the Berkley handpours. IIRC, the Berkley worms are a bit stiffer.

Perhaps because they know his high-end sticks wont have reel seat/cork failures.

R&D. It's quite easy for a company, who did not invest much money into research and development, to knock-off a bait and offer it at a low price.

It depends on the desired application. If it's a crankin' combo, then the reel. If it's a jig/worm combo, then the rod.

I've never had to return anything there, though I've had to deal with more ***** employees there than normal. If you are worried about it not having balls, strap it on a 2 or 3 powered NRX. No lefty, so I'm out.
