  1. Just purchased a Shimano Conquest 51.
  2. Yup.Another vote for the Curado! Great reels.
  3. The Curado I seems like a winner. I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for sharing.
  4. Wow. Some of those people really need to give their head a shake .
  5. Yep, I'm definitely interested in the new Curado.
  6. That's great! Thanks for sharing.
  7. I agree with the above. Useless baits! ;-)
  8. Sorry martintheduck, I am away right now. The two in the back are Daiwa TD-ito (TD-Z) and the one in the front is a Daiwa TD-Z I'ZE Custom. TD-Z's in general are outstanding reels! Much appreciated.

Most are cold forged aluminum main gears with a hardened brass or stainless pinion gear. We do not use full brass alloy gearing in any of our spinning reels.
  11. I have a bit of a soft spot for them lol.
  12. Way to go Shimano! Those Koppers baits look great, as well. Thanks, Glenn.
  13. I have a couple Curado 51E's and a 201E and have never experienced what you have described. Like others have noted above, mine seem to have gotten smoother with age. Same can be said for my D series.
  14. Currently, YZ Hybrid combined with the Palomar knot.
  15. Glad to hear you got everything sorted out.Congrats on the purchase. I've been looking for a NIB Conquest SS for some time.
  16. BTW, did you purchase this new?
  17. Very nice, thehooligan. Gotta love the Conquest - probably my favourite reel.
