i am throwing size 10 and the one i caught all the fish on was olive & silver.

I've complained about this rod on this site before BUT NOW I'VE REALLY HAD IT ! everything that i've read amout this rod (on this forum and other reviews on the web ) say that it's extremely sensitive. WRONG! today i was fishing a jig and couldn't feel the bottom as i was dragging it ower the rocky bottom. Thats not all i also lost 4 fish with it I HAVEN'T LOST 4 FISH IN THE PAST 2 YEARS ! and today i lost 4 the rod is a kistler magnesium all purpose spinning 6'6"med. i am sticking w/my g loomis rods unbeliveably sensitive and i don't lose fish. I DON'T KNOW MABEY I'M JUST SPOILED BY MY G LOOMIS RODS .

IT WAS AWESOME !!!!!!!!!! the 1st cast i had a big one and lost it when i got it to shore. the second cast i caught a 4 pounder the 3rd cast i got another one and he wrapped around a bush and i lost my new x-rap good thing i bought 3 of them.

I have the kistler magnesium all purpose med 6'6" spinning rod and it's a really nice rod , all the new magnesium rods are all fuji components i made sure i asked them before i orderd it . if you buy one do yourself a favor and put a nice lite reel on it. i have fished the charles river in waltham ma for years . i have never fished a jig though because the water really isn't clean enough for crayfish to live and i know that a jig is supposed to mimic a crayfish . am i wrong do you think that i should try fishing jigs in these waters ?

I am interested in buying a new legend elite spinning rod but i am looking for one to use as an all around rod spinnerbait , crankbaits, tubes , senko etc. witch one do you recomend?

I never heard anyone say anything bad about them BUT ! i bought one a few years ago the first fish that i caught on it ( about a 1lb bass) the rod snapped about 3" from the tip. I hav had ove 100 rods in my life and that was the ONLY rod that ever broke fighting a fish. (i have broken others in car doors and stuff like that) I haven't fished one since.

When i spool a reel i put the spool of line on the floor put a telephone book in the front of it open the book about 1/4 lay the line between the pages (use your judgement , if it's to tight when you reel don't go so deep in the book) i don't know why but it gets the memory out of the line.

i've used that rod in the spinning model and it's one of the best rods that i have ever used.

I have 3 of them and i love every single one of them more than my $ 229.00 shimano sustain 2500.

I got a some crap from other members when i pretty much said the same thing about the garbbage ardent spinning reels.

i have 3 loomis rods and the johnny morris are very high quality extremely lite and sensitive, not to far from the loomis imx that i have.
