I think confidence is the most important because you have to be paitent and try multiple ways of fishing mabey one bait for the fish to bite it, once you figure out what the fish like you will be more confident in using that lure with that technique.

Have the bait monkey go and climb the tree to get it for you.

that has happened to me too, also use a light weight, 1/16 oz, or a 3/16oz at the most.

Latley here in my part of michigan, we've been getting a lot of rain from, the remnants of the hurricanes. i don't know how much rain but it is a lot more than usually, a good 2 days straight of steady rain. What are some of the things i should look for tuesday when it is supposed to stop raining?

Well i went out yesterday, only one bass :'( but after a few casts the braid seemed to shoot out of the guides and i can cast a lot farther with a lot less effort. Also when i caught my fish, he was about 25 yards away and i had to go through a TON of weeds and other mess, the braid cut right through it.

When i put on my braid, i noticed that it was harder to reel in and it felt like there was too much friction between the guides and the line, should i replace the guides or is the rod shot?

I was thinking about getting a Berkly Lightning Rod? Looks alike a nice alt. to more expensive rods, and the reveiws seem to be pretty nice. anyone have good things to say about these rods, or bad?

i live in michigan and if you don't live here you won't feel the embarresment(spelling) of mayor kwuame's crap. This morning, on 9/4/08 mayor kwuame(or should i say, no longer mayor kwuame) he pleaded guilty to 2 felonys, has to pay millions of dollars in restitution, give up his law license, and spend 120 days in jail. which i think is great, i feel bad for his wife and kids, but not him. Ive noticed people have been saying that they feel bad for Kwuame :-/ Umm........what? How do you feel bad for this crap bag? Right now, im watching the news and som1 said that we should PRAY for Kwuame, ? Ya i hope he goes into bankrupcy

What do you look for in a swimbait, spinner/buzzbait, and crankbait rod's characteristics that makes it better situated(spelling?) for that type of fishing?

Well tomorrow I'm going to the clinton river park with my dad to race R/C cars but im gonna bring my rod and tackle, and i was wondering if it is a decent place to fish for SM or LM. And if you have any tips, would be greatly appreaciated!
