  5. scum frog also but the zoom horny toad has a very high hook up ratio too
  6. catching a fish on the first cast is bad luck never dip your hat into the water
  7. wieghted but im not a huge fan of the fat ika
  8. a small mr twister grub, tube, senko or fluke should work wonders for you

i have the same problem just keep fishing and you will catch some nice ones its definetly not a big fish bait.
  13. yea thats exactly what i think a shakey head works pretty good there too
  14. yea noone throws them but poppers are awesome for around any visble structure
  15. whats the HP rating on that lake?
  16. yea the jerkbait will work all season long thats why it is such a great bait. Topwater becomes pretty good just a few weeks after the spawn but not right after!!
  17. any bait will work for overhang rocks. when a bait falls down the smallie react its an reaction just make sure you are using pretty strong line because the big smallies will pull and get back into the rocks
  18. yea there are places that the dropshot works well everyone that fishes it uses the wacky rig it is a great topwater lake yea stoystown is real close to the lake
  19. My tournament is in Indiana for the Big Ten Championship. I just had a bass tournament last weekend on Yellow Creek. Two weekends ago I had one on Raystown. Jim's anchorage was just held on Raystown 15" limit 3 fish. I am having a tournament last weekend in April I think it will be a paper tournament. o ok yea good luck man yea i thought no tournaments could be held from now to june or something like that idk i dont fish tournaments so i wouldnt know well good luck again
  20. the hands down best piece of structure on a faster river is an overhanging rock breaking current with the overhang part facing down stream smallies will hide under them ledges are also good peices of structure for river smallmouths
  21. yea ive heard nice muskies are being caught but all my time i spent there. I have never seen or caught one there it used to be owned by a fishing club and no one could fish it and the bass really grew there are some real lunkers in that lake
  22. all depends on time of year and the depth of the water. Smallies will move into current when the water temp rises. They will go under bridges if it is deep. Just try a lot of spots intil you figure out what the fish are doing
  23. yes im also like bassin boy and bassinbrett the only times i pick up kits is when they are really really cheap and/or have the colors im looking for
  24. yea my brother uses trout magnets alot robby where is your tournament at? just wondering because i thought that bass season was closed during this time til sometime in june? idk maybe im wrong
  25. yea just electric motors, but its only a half an hour drive so i bought a small 16 foot v haul boat just for it fun little lake its actually pretty big for electric motors only but whatever
