  1. no one box is really better than another buy maybe 1 bigger spinnerbait and buzz bait box then a large flatter box for your cranks then buy 3 worm and softbait binders thats what i would do
  2. yea i like the larger 4 inch trigged but too many people over look the simple way and very effective my favorite rig is rigging the craw straight on a shakey or jighead as long as there is minimal vegation
  3. no they definetly are not rotating the bomber hooks are Tx3 hooks im not sure if they are made by excalibur or not but they are good hooks im not sure about strike king

  8. yea im betting he is going to get another one this year he will win it on the jig
  9. I'm almost positive there are shad, but I've never used a bait on the susq that actually mimicked a shad specifically. All the jerkbaits were rogues, lucky-craft, yo-zuri, or something similar to that...nothing with a fat body like a shad. Summer is when I've had the best success with the jerkbait on the river...all in "natural" colors and small sizes. o ok thanks i have a box just filled with shad minic cranks im goint to take it along with a box of jerkbaits then a bunch of softplastics i sure hope i can find a pattern
  10. nice i seen that done before i never tried it though tell me how the bass respond to it
  11. i like the rat-l-trap the most it definetly puts out the most vibration among mostly all lipless cranks the ratl trap is special because its head( where u tie on the line) is alot wider so it displaces alot more water then other lipless cranks
  12. is the 30 bridge the bridge just above huckabee's and sheetz? well i fish just upstream from that then i fish somewhere below that behind the walmart
  13. yea thats too bad congrads to the lane brothers finishing 3rd and 4th and they should both do very very good next week at kissimee

  15. i actually have a pretty good example of an experience of mine a few years ago i went on a float with some buddies of mine down the south branch of the potomac it was a two day trip the first day was a day after rain and the water was alittle murky and stained i was using a chartreuse grub and was wacking them with a pretty aggresive retrieve the next day the stained water ran off and it was alot clearer i used them same bait caught them but i had to work it slower with more finness so...
  16. o ok thanks guys i might try it this year i dont know i was just wondering thanks
  17. i know that the craws starting getting active around may up here then in june u still lots of smaller ones scattering from pile to pile so im not really sure but i think in may sometime a few years ago while fishing the a cumberland dam a guy told me a tip that i will never forgot and has added lots of fish to my livewell well he said that when the sun is high and very hot, bluffs and rocks that stick out of the water become very hot and the craws under them become very active and they start to come out well when the sun is out the smallies go to the rocks to find shade well in this act the craws and smallies cross and its a feeding frenzy thats all i know about craw movement
  18. my buddy and i were talking about flukes and he said that he really likes using senkos instead on the weightless trig he said it has just as good darting action just wondering if anyone here uses stick baits as soft jerkbaits thanks
