  4. yea the buckeye mop jig is a good one as well its good for shallow structure and flipping pads

  6. i fished around warren once mesquito lake or something like that then i fished some river in that area for muskies im not sure i was 15 at the time
  7. for stained water try the baby bass color if u are fishing around weeds a darker version of shad color will work as well now if u do ever fihs clear water white/transparent or even natural shad colors work the best
  8. yea im going to the sus with my neighbor i have never fished it before but he has fished it alot and knows how to catch big smallies out of it kinda like u and wills im taking a buddy of mine down to hopewell to fish for smallies there on the raystown branch just alittle downstream from cybrus beach bridge somewhere down there where ever i find some parking
  9. i use the booyah jigs alot there probably my favorite along with bitsy bug jig they have a great profile and the booyah jig is my deepwater jig of choose its not the greatest jig for flipping heavy cover just doesnt produce like others but when it comes to fishing current/deep water the booyah jig is great
  10. yea thats what i normally do to but i had some good days rigging a shakey worm on a shakyhead and just dead sticking it its easy too do if the bite is slow u dont even have to change rigs or baits just presention

  12. yea they really do look alot alike the yum its a deal and dave i wanted a shorter and smaller profile bait i had checked out all luring baits but this is cheaper *** was 12 bucks not including s&h and this was like 9 something including s&h

  14. drop shotting and dead sticking is one of the best techinffques to use when this happens up here also topwater poppers work great too in shallower parts of the lake
  15. yea if u can find some deep deep water that is really close to shore i used to fish deep riprap from shore this time of year and catch some good bass anymore when there is no ice but water is cold i will use chest waders and fish back eddies and creek cannels/ditches for crappie/perch and some bass
  16. 3/8 ounce shaky head/jighead if you can find a 3/8 ounce shakey head with an over size hook buy that u will have fun shakey head fishing is awesome do u deadstick?

May 8- the 11th cant wait im goin to have a action packed may that starts it off then the next weekend im goin to sushenna river over in harrisburg then the next week im going to junita then im not sure for memorials day weekend then after that we are still on for wills o man great time hmm i did to make plans for memorials day
  20. i have that type of spro walker its great hell with what people say about the spooks and that that walking bait that u got is one of my favs great spotted bass catcher i think i have that popper too not sure good luck on those new lures man hope you catch alot
  21. im not the best crankbait angler but for clear water go with white/pearl or a natural minnow color like a blue for blueback herring or shad im a big fan of strike kings kvd sexy shad color good luck
  22. k cheap and a great lure for big bass and lots of them bitsy bug jigs only about 2-4 bucks get a few of them and some trailers for them and then stock up on your senkos and curly tail worms these 2 baits are the foundation of a lot of anglers rebel makes alot of topwater baits at a fair price also
  23. i never tried it either but i heard that baitfish will school on sunny winter days and the bass will hit topwater really well in the dead of winter i was never on the water to see any schooling baitfish in winter though
